Our baby girl Nothing more precious to us in all the world
Not money or expensive things Because we have very little but still live like kings
Just without the fast cars and diamond rings, We're rich in love
One of the few things in life that is pure and good
Something that stars off raw like a shrub And after time will bloom
Just like you did in mummy's womb
And we knew that very soon you would join us in our front room
We feel we need to wrap you in cotton wool to shelter you from unnecessary evil
We will only ever surround you with Influential people
We'll do our best to guide you onto the right path
Tell you that you have to work hard for everything you have
Before you can sit back, relax and have a laugh
Mum and dad want you to have more than we ever had
We never want to see you struggle
If you do and your experiencing trouble we will be here to pick
You back up with a cuddle
And then gently bring you back down to earth
Tell you how much you are worth and how much you have to offer planet earth
Life's like a competition and you have what it takes to win it
You will hold the world in your fingertips
its up to you what you do with it!!
From the day you where born me and mum have been full of an overwhelming happiness because!!
You are and always will be the glimmering diamond in our eyes
You will achieve and forever believe in greater things
Because we will never tell you no lies
